LUK makes this clutch kit for use on 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999 Volkswagen Jetta cars. The clutch kit is used to replace the parts of the existing clutch. Occasionally, clutch slipping or chatter may not be caused by a faulty clutch. When diagnosing problems with the transmission, use LB180 to determine if this clutch kit will fix the problem. The circular clip needs to be completely seated below the diaphragm spring tabs. Cycling the clutch before starting the vehicle ensures that the circular clip is in the correct position. This clutch kit is recommended for use on Volkswagen Jettas made from 1994 through 1999, but it may not be the correct clutch kit for use on other vehicle makes, models, or years.
