This LUK Clutch Kit is designed for BMW 318tis with model years 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. A working Clutch Kit lets you change gears by utilizing the motor's flywheel and friction disks; as the clutch is depressed, the components become disjointed, disengaging the vehicle's motor from the drive train and allowing it to spin without turning the wheels. Generally the clutch is a tough system, after 75,000 miles or so the mechanisms can become worn and will need repair. BMW 318tis of model years '95, '96, '97, '98 and '99 are compatible with this replacement part.
