Description

A LUK Clutch Kit is designed for Ford Rangers of model years 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Clutch Kites enable a vehicle to change to a new gear by disconnecting the car or truck's transmission from its engine. A functional Clutch Kit switches gears using a flywheel and friction disks; when the clutch pedal is depressed, the flywheel and clutch plate separate, uncoupling the vehicle's engine from the wheels which allows the engine to run without moving the vehicle. A Clutch Kit is a key part of the transmission enabling your current gear to be released from the vehicle's driveshaft so that an additional larger or smaller gear to be used. Usually a vehicle clutch is a long-lasting element, with use the mechanisms can become worn and need a new part. In vehicles using an automatic transmission, the Clutch Kit is incorporated into a transmission system, however stick shifts require the motorist to engage the clutch on their own, usually by using a pedal by the brake pedal. Ford Rangers of model years 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 can use this Clutch Kit.
