A LUK Clutch Kit can be used on Porsche 911s from the years '99, '00 and '01. A Clutch Kit is an essential part of your transmission enabling the current gear to be disengaged from your car's drive shaft so that a different larger or smaller gear to be engaged. An operative Clutch Kit helps the driver switch gears by using the motor's flywheel and friction discs; when the clutch is engaged, the flywheel and clutch plate move apart, disconnecting the vehicle's motor from the drive train and allowing the engine to turn without moving the vehicle.
