This LUK Clutch Kit is designed for Ford F350 Super Duties with model years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003. Clutch Kites enable the driver to select a new gear by temporarily disconnecting the transmission from the engine. A working Clutch Kit helps switch gears using the engine flywheel and friction disks; as the clutch pedal is engaged, the components diverge, disconnecting the engine from the drive train which allows the engine to spin without moving the vehicle. Although a vehicle clutch is a long-lasting system, after 75,000 miles or so the internal components can become worn and require repair. Your Clutch Kit is a key piece within a transmission permitting the current gear to be released from your vehicle's drive shaft to enable an additional larger or smaller gear to be engaged.
