The LUK Clutch Kit is compatible with Ford F250s from 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997. A working Clutch Kit helps the driver switch gears by using the engine flywheel and friction disks; if the clutch pedal is engaged, the components become disjointed, disengaging the vehicle's motor from the drive train which allows the engine to turn free. In cars that use an automatic transmission, your Clutch Kit is incorporated into your transmission system, but stick shifts require the car owner to engage a clutch themselves, typically through a pedal by your brake pedal. Clutch Kites allow a driver to change to a new gear by temporarily uncoupling the car or truck's transmission from its motor.
