This 2001 to 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee window regulator from Dorman is the vehicle component that raises and lowers the car's window glasses. This is called an electric window regulator, or also called power or automatic window regulator, because everything is performed automatically. In this set up, the driver does not have to rotate manually the crank handle which is done with manual window regulators, but with just a touch of a button. There is a small electric motor integrated with the switching components for activating the different gears to lift or lower the windows.
